eCommerce Digital Shelf Content Manager

Overall Responsibility

The eCommerce Digital Shelf Content Manager owns the daily management of the Product Experience Management platforms (Salsify and Syndigo), including creation and implementation of processes and procedures to cross functional teams across multiple geographies, analyzing and prioritizing content gaps, and optimizing content by brand and customer.  Within PXM platforms this role will maintain syndication channels, workflows, and data integrations within the platform.  As well as, administrative duties that include user maintenance, training, and updating key stakeholders on process changes/updates. The administrator will have governance responsibility for product data within the platform, ensuring clean content focused on a digital first customer and consumer experience.

Key Task and Responsibilities

  • Day to day management of the PXM platforms (Salsify/Syndigo); focusing on optimization of both inputs and outputs
  • Work cross functionally to implement usage of the Product Experience Management Platform within all regions, tailoring content to each region’s requirements.
  • Identify gaps in product content when mapped to retailer requirements and create plans to fill those content gaps with the goal of increased conversion rates across Britax and BOB Gear’s customer base
  • Analyze metrics from internal and external data resources to identify opportunities that will create standards, improve merchandising and the customer experience across various products and categories.
  • Define, build, and maintain workflows within the platform to improve, operationalize and streamline relevant business processes across different teams.
  • Define Governance and Inheritance models across multiple brands, categories and platforms
  • Establish guidelines for collaboration around product content collection, creation, management, syndication, and analysis.
  • Assist other teams in setting up modules (enhanced content, Insights), digital catalogs, export templates, and syndication channels where necessary.
  • Become a Product Experience Management Platform (Salsify) expert and deliver training sessions on the platform around new and existing functionality as necessary.
  • Administrate the Product Experience Management Platform (Salsify), including overall Data Governance, User Administration, Catalog/Channel maintenance, and User Interface updates.
  • Develop a strong command of the digital commerce industry landscape.
  • Drive organizational change in support of digital commerce strategy.
  • Collaborate with Salsify Customer Success team to identify and evaluate opportunities to take advantage of new Salsify product features and services.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent Experience required, with 3-5 years of experience.
  • Experience with Salsify and Syndigo Product Experience Management platform very strongly preferred. Will accept candidates with significant experience and proven success in the rollout and administration of a similar Product Information Management System.
  • Experience working within a Global/Regional function, driving results cross-functionally within a business organization.
  • Demonstrated ability as a complex problem-solver, building strategic and resource-friendly solutions to eCommerce/Digital Shelf problems.
  • Experience building integrations between eCommerce Platforms and Product Experience Management Platform (Salsify).
  • Experience working with eCommerce vendors (Amazon/Walmart/Target/Buy Buy Baby).
