Overall Responsibility

Works under the direction of the Creative Manager to develop graphic design files for packaging, POP, catalogs, sell sheets and other collateral materials and maintains creative assets.  


  • Key Task and Responsibilities
  • Designer must be versatile in many different types of communications
  • Following brand guidelines, develop layouts for packaging, signage, catalogs, promotional items and other unique requests. 
  • Graphically represent the brand through the development and execution of printed materials:  product icons, packaging, POP, catalogs, print ads and consumer promotional materials.
  • Ability to manipulate and reformat photographic images for use in different environments; retouch product images to ensure color accuracy and consistency of lighting, drop shadows and backgrounds.    
  • Ability to take a project from concept to execution including prep of print ready design files.   
  • Possess the ability to move quickly and comfortably between multiple projects while maintaining high levels of creative and ensuring that critical milestone dates are met. 
  • Maintain and organize digital asset files for quick and easy distribution to internal and external partners.  
  • Collaborate with team to assist in project strategy, gathering content, and coordinating outsourced vendors, as needed.
  • Out of the box thinker that actively seeks out new solutions to design problems
  • Basic understanding of web design and UI/UX and HTML/CSS experience is a plus
  • Motion graphics and video production and editing experience a plus
  • Strong portfolio is a must


Skills and Attributes

  • Highly proficient with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, XD) and Microsoft PowerPoint in both Window and Mac platforms.
  • Strong design skills with solid understanding of typography and color plus aesthetic sensibilities.
  • Proficient computer skills:  ability to use all relevant graphics software on a PC.  Including Adobe, Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop
  • Quickly grasp the brand aesthetic and able to work within corporate & retailer style guides.
  • Exceptional production skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Self-initiative and motivation to manage area of responsibility.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment.
  • Detail oriented, good organizational skills.
  • Ability to set priorities and to adapt to changing situation quickly.

Experience Required

  • Minimum 3-5 years of graphic design experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree – Fine Arts or other related fields
  • No direct reports.
