Graphic Designer

Package Description

The successful candidate will report to the Creative / Marcoms Manager and will be working on design solutions across all internal channels and retail partnerships. This role is based out of our Port Melbourne offices

Key Responsibilities

Graphic Design solutions for Britax business and external partners

  • Development of artwork and creative across various channels such as media - digital & social
  • Development of campaign POS for retail partners
  • Creation of website assets and content
  • Provide design support as required for events, expos and sponsorship requests
  • Assist in the preparation and execution of product and lifestyle photography/video shoots when required

Copywriting and content for various channels

  • Development of content across various channels such as social media, EDM’s, YouTube and websites.
  • Responsible for copy and TOV for each brand across all channels

Communications and partnerships

  • Provides assistance with retail and internal communications as required
  • Continually seek ways to create, improve content and communications by reviewing partnerships and opportunities
  • Assists with content for cause partners

Uphold brand guidelines across all communication and design scope

  • Provide thorough quality checks on design work, when liaising with suppliers
  • Continually seek ways to create, improve and use wireframes, style guides & user flows & effectively communicate interaction ideas

Skills

  • A natural collaborator, who can work with multiple stakeholders to ensure design solutions meet briefs and objectives
  • Outstanding creative flair while keeping on top of design and digital trends
  • Proven ability to design materials across various media channels 
  • Excellent written communication, spelling and verbal skills
  • Ability to build trusting relationships both internally and externally to the company
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, priorities and deadlines and display effective decision-making

Qualifications

  • 3+ years design experience
  • Tertiary qualifications in Graphic Design
  • Experience in product consumer goods/retail is desirable
  • Advanced in Adobe Creative Suite CC

NOTE: this position requires a Working With Children Check (WWCC) as the incumbent will be required to undertake child-related work within the meaning of the Working with Children Act 2005.
